$2,500 goal

We are no longer accepting donations on this campaign, but there are other ways for you to support us today!

This year, an anonymous donor has pledged to match up to $2,500 in donations on Giving Tuesday! The McLean County Museum of History is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides free programs and services to more than 8,200 local students and senior citizens every year.

Your donation will go to support a variety of community-enriching programs and services provided by the Museum, including:

  • free admission for students year-round,
  • free educational materials provided to local teachers specifically designed to meet both Illinois State Board of Education Learning Goals and Common Core educational standards,
  • free access through our website to hundreds of biographies, photos and documents for researchers near and far,
  • free artifact loan kits provided to teachers whose classes are unable to take advantage of our field trips,
  • free Senior Reminiscence programs designed to stimulate cognition, interaction and memory recall,
  • and many more public programs!
